ok i got my 4 hifonics 12's still fro my alst car wit the hifonics 2000watt amp..but i wana go wit less weight in the cutty cuz it gonna b alil bit of a runner so dont wana weight it down to much....wat are sum decent 12's name brand like for example kicker.re's n things of that nature that will hold roun 700-750 rms but not to big of a magnet for the weight issue...n im not lookin for super bass like the btl's and all them crazy super speakers sum of yall got or talk about..i was lookin into re subs and the different levels they have...how good are they? n wat would be a good amp to for roun 1500 watt rms would be a good match up...and yes it will be a blow thru box wit the 2 facin forward and mids around the mouth of the opening..i kno it proly ownt be as loud as the 4 12's but im not really into goin super loud wit this car juz wana alil sumthin in it..like im only goin 2 8's and a bullet in each door at the bottom and a cneter console wit proly 2 8's in the front and maybe 2 8's or 10 in the back section wit a few tweets...not fully decided yet cuz i got everything out my old car still

so any suggestions i'll take into mind thanx

how many watts are they rms wise? and wat would be a good amp on em? i dont think i can use my hifonics cuz it set up for 4 12 2 ohm speakers..or is there a way i can still use it? wat ohm speaker would i need and i kno they dual voice coils rite? or sell the hifonics stuff (412's and amp 2getha ) cuz i got sum1 that willing to buy em for like 450 speakers n amp

Sundown's are very very good. Get one if you can.

If you going right behind the seat facing forward, I would do 10's because the heigth on top of the hump is like 13 1/8" max if I remember correctly. The 12's will fix but will be cutting VERY close, like the subs will be just as tall as the box.. Unless you slant the box a lil bit.

I would do 10's ported forward.

You can also do a 1 sub setup with a big port.

well how we did my last 2 gbodys wit 4 12/s was all dacing forward in the back of the trunkand the box went up to the hump then you make a ramp up to the mouth or openng..thats how we do all box chevys n gbodys wit that hump........so if i juz do 2 12's im really juz goin for less weight not realy trunk space...so the box would go back more n then build up to a opening

Sundowns are nice, very nice. I had a 1500d, and now I got a 125.2 on my highs, some of the cleanest sounding amps for the price.
