I need some help with a lift for an 85 cutty. I had 22s and installed airshocks in rear and twist in knuckles in front. It rode fine but know im switchin to 24s. I installed them cut the front fenders but it just is not high enough for me cuz it rides stiff with the knuckles and the back is not high enough. i want to switch to lift cups. what size would work best 3 in or 5 all the way around. will the stock shocks work or what ones will work? They are a 25 series tire also. should i go with trailing arms and extended control arms?

Yes, you're gonna need this for the front to keep the camber straight and for the back to have your wheels centered. Do 1' extension on the a-arms even if they come out a little too long you can always shim it back. For the back get some adjustable trailing arms or extend stocks 1" on the lowers and 1.75" on the tops.

they have adjustable trialing arms on ebay for a good price and front a-arms...i cant remeba the exact name but they a good company and they com in like 4 diff colors to kinda match up to yo car..and they lot cheaper price wise then these lift companys are sellin em for

Do 1 1/2in cup in the front...5in cup in the back...extended a-arms and trailing arms!!

I haven't checked ebay but my set of uppers and lowers adjustables sell for $265 shipped to your door. same ones that I lift the rides with and also install them on lowriders.

So if i go with 1 1/2 in the rear and 5 in the front with the control arms then the shocks that are on it will fit?

for some reason I thought you had a monte carlo not a cutlass. You're going to need those a-arms extended for sure if you're trying to get that high.

hey nice to see some close people on here seem ..but yeah listen to trace he kno wat he talkin bout ....i kno alittle doe, to be 19 i think im pretty good. my first lift im doing know if it turns out good i will be doin lifts .chea ...but install them cups and you should be good to go .....and i would go get some hi jackrs from auto zone
