Client has a car getting lifted right now to fit 26"s on it, and she's worried about having to use adapters. She don't want the rims & tires to be poked out. My rim/tire vendor said he thinks the rear will require adapters, but that the front should be fine. He wasn't 110% sure though, as he's not done a '71 Impala specifically.

What does ECR think? Who's lifted their Impala for some Sixes? What did you have to do for the rims to fit?

Thanks,

what size tire? you really dont need to lift a donk for sixes depending on the tires. maybe big block springs thats it. And why would you need adapters with the right rims?

your rim/vendor guys an idiot and needs to learn more bout these style of cars and wat he's sellin if he thinks you would need adaptors on a impala..only reaosn for adaptors is when u buy used rims and the bolt pattern is different or on gbodys cuz of the frame in the back if you dont wana bang up the frame..but if you buyin new wheels you juz get the rite offset for the car..and 6's wit 275/25/26 you dont need to lift..juz put heavy duty springs to keep it alil stiffer and you have to cut alil bit of the back of hte inner fender to turn better and thats it
