I have a 305 sbc w/ a th 350 trans which I was told is a lock up after the shop rebuilt it and said I would need a

new torque converter and that it was lock up. I never knew and had the car for 2 years. So my trans just

happened to go out last month and i sent the trans to get rebuilt and i go to pick the trans up and they said i

needed a new lock up converter and i really dont even know the difference. I dont even think i ever used the

lock up.
