I'm stuck right now mainly between 2 subs right now, DC Sound Lab Level 4 12s & Mach 5 Audio ixl v2 12s, goal of the setup is ported, loud & low mostly but still have a good response curve from the woofers plan on running 1 4k or 5k amp havn't decided on which one (more than likely a 4k), perfomance wise idk which would better suit my app, price wise the ixls are 210 shipped and dc sound lab lv 4s are ? (waiting on a reply from randy) shipped lol, but i think the mach 5s are gonna be cheaper but probably only by 40-50 bucks which does adds up because i plan running 4 or whatever subs i choose, picked these two mainly because of budget and i know both work well with 1.5 cubes or more if i have it to give

Both are really good subs and both would do what you need them too. The Mach 5s will drop low, without question, but I know from personal exp so will the DCs.

The Level 4 is a nice overall sub, and dont think its 1000RMS aint enough, my 18" on 1200w was giving my car the business. 4 of those on 5k would be nice, would drop like nobodys business, and still hit the upper note very well.

Get teh LVL 4s, tune it to 32hz, and you good to go.

Thanks dawg. Batteries going to go on the sides of the box on the shelves, and amps going to be mounted straight to the back of the box. Still got to take out the back seat and do some cutting, but its going to look nice when its done.

good question, i haven't mapped out the bubbles trunk yet, but if i did it in tha vic it would be easy to do it sub back port back, i knw if ole boy dropped 4 15s in his bubble i know i can drop 4 12s ported in a 8-9 cube box with ease

trust me I got 1 of these ported now and it flexes alittle in vic. So imagine 4 on your amp. And this stereo shit is like crack.

yeah think imma fuck with the qs with the bp upgrade, or aa havoc, those 2 seem to be the best fit for what i want out of the subs good strong response curve excel in lows, while still offerng great output, so it's between those 2 subs, i may choose aa though depending if i can get a dealer to show me some love on the price, cause i like the look of the boobless cone

yea those concaved 1 piece subs are sexy. Thats 1 reason why I think Audiopulse has the sexiest looking subs. Hate to sound lame but it is sexy looking. SSAudio has their new Xcon has that option. Speaking for SSaudio I wouldnt mind having a few of those. Those shits are very very under estimated

because you don't know nuthin about subwoofers t/s parameters, before you ask t/s are what determines the subwoofer type enclosure, as far as how large scale of box it will respond best in to what type of box it will respond best in to what type woofer it is geared to be to etc.....

I know my last post was talking about my final set-up but I started thinking about the Cascade Omega 15s as well. My homeboy had a Omega 12 and that surprised the hell outta me.

not a damn thing those subs played low, and everything else, the only problem i had i believe was the box, i believe it was to efficient for the power i was feeding them, but also the subs where used and claimed to be fully loaded, so the previous owner could have lied and could of been as simple as they wasn't broken in all the way cause they was stiff as a bitch, the previous owner never gave them no play time cause he kept having to replace amps..... but they do get stupid loud and play very well, hopfully the 4qs or 4 havocs will be louder and and more dealdly on the lows...... i mean 4 12s offer more cone area and have a higher xmax rating
