i just installed motor and tranny , i had to get driveshaft cut to fit . we installed shaft fixed hole in tranny line and filled it up with fluid drove it to the store and it pushed all the fluid out where the dip stick go . so we changed the filtr and filled it up again and it did the same thang . (all that fluid got on my hot wire and i didnt know the wire was touching the exhaust and it started a small flame if it wasnt for my homie seeing the small amount of smoke at first i probly woulda lost a new motor and a nice 73 impala) just letting yall hear a lil highlight of my problem but the motor is a 358 tranny 400 with a 2800-3300 stall . all help will be appreciated thanks ryders !

No problem. That's the only thing I can think of that would make it leak from around the dipstick tube. Now if it is coming up out the top of the dipstick, that is another story. I'm also assuming you've got your trans lines tight as well.

I'm not much of a tranny guy (no homo) but I'd say you have an internal blockage somewhere in your trans. For some reason it's building up so much pressure that it's coming out the dipstick.

THANKS FIXING TO GO FUC WITH IT NOW.

Water in the tranny would cause that too. Do you have an external tranny cooler?
