so i got a suspension shop tellin me they can swap my springs out for air bags on a a 5in bracket... sound safe? i already got 5inch lift cups extended front gas shocks and air shocks in the back... anybody think this would work? on a 96 fleetwood on 306/30/26

i wanna basically use fast bags in place of springs but the bracket is used for the lift

Well d@mn, I thought those had bags in the rear from the factory. Shows how much I know lol. My 90 Deville FWD had bags in the rear tho.

the got factory air shocks but they still got springs

idk man sounds like u tryna do to much, shoulda decided u wanted bags before u ordered cups and shit

well he said it wud b simple jus take out the springs and cups and install the special 5in lift mount bracket sounds like it would work he said they use it on trucks

What your trying to do can be done but it's not going to be a easy job if you want it to work right. Heres some of the problems your going to run into 4-link, driveshaft, shocks, brake lines, (make sure you look at the back of the trans to see if the driveshaft is bottemed out when the car is lifted if it is this can blow the trans up) depending on how much lift you get out of the bags. And Getting your ride height where you want and making sure its level. Do you know the diff between fast or slow bags?

yeah fast bags like hydros right? aye you do airbag systems right? you gotta number i can reach you at to compare prices?
