Would 600 be to much to sell a 96 LT1 with between 75 and 80k with no harness and pcm.I started breaking it down but i wanna go the ls route.I bought it 4 600 so do u think i can get what i paid for it cuz i dont wanna take a loss.

......or should i clean it up and get a rebuild kit and sell it for more

with it all broke down, probably not going to get what u paid for it.

I would just continue breaking it down, if aint nothing majorly wrong, let the machine shop clean everything up, new bearings & gaskets and sell it for a lil bit more. be easier to sell that way too.

Ay pete how you keep the damn flexplate from turning when you pulling the damper.nigga aint got no impact tools

put the flex plate back on and run a bar going through the flex plate and wedge it against the block while you turn....x2 with pete, you might want to have the block cleaned and bearings replaced because that motor looks like it has a lot of miles on it. It would be VERYYY hard to sale it the way that it is now since you can get one of them all day for 500 with the computer so you gotta make it worth somebody's wild

can do what CVN said, or if the oil pan is off, you can take the handle of a hammer & stick it up against the Crank and turn the motor over until handle is wedged in between the crank & the block, which will stop the engine from turning over & u can get the dampner off.

got the damper pulled and picked up me a puller set for the LO from harbor freight tools.

Stuff like that is always nice to have when you trying to build your collection up but you could have rented it from autozone for free FYI.
