if u could get the motors for the same price which one would u go with.a sbc 400 or a LS/Vortec 6000.

answer the question depends on whats done to the 400. If its stock for stock get the LS

I think I'd go with the LS motor. Just never been too fond of the 400 sbc. Especially since you can bore & stroke a LS to over 454 cid. Plus the car blocks are aluminum, so you're saving weight too.
