MAACO actually can do good paint jobs for the money. Just don't buy the "special" unless you going to buy/ bring your own paint, do all your prep work, do all your own dissasembly work, and mask the car ya self in the parking lot. For around a grand you will get a good paint job if you let them do everything and if your NOT satisfied they will fix the situation per the guarantee that comes with the paintjob. I have gone to a so called "custom shop" before and dropped $1500.00 on paint and a friend had a $250.00 MAACO paint job looked 10 x better then mine. Body shops are a roll of the dice (especially if they are not with the BBB) so be cautious and at look at it realistically, if MAACO did'nt do something right....then there would'nt be so many of them. Good luck.

People say that maaco does fucked up shit but thats cause yall want shit for t he low ..and they give you low quality work then yall get mad. And maaco could fuck up as many jobs as they want, they the least expensive so people pay for it...cause they are priced the lowest..

but as far as preppn your stuff yourself .. most people dont know how to prep a car..and i know aint no maaco here fittna let you work in their lot...if your gonna do that then you mite as well take it to some one who has a good name and pay for what you want. you want some nice shit then pay for it..if the shops good and they say 7500 for take down put together sprayed all the way through wit body work then pay it! as long as they garuntee their work and they give ou exactly what you payed for.if you aint got the money then save up.
