No big deal but if you read like every post i reply to this every painter is different and it depends on YOUR wallet. . . THeres guys here that paint cars outrageous that stretch the fuck out of 2liters for a whole car where as my painter will use 6-8 to do it correctly. . so ask who you have painting your car how much or which material you need and ill take care of you.

ya they got a color thats almost like the sprite can color that flips from that turquoisish teal color to a greenish color,i juz cant remeba the name of it..you gotta eitha order a color wheel or if you got a shop around you that has a outrageous color wheel ull see it..try n go on there site and look at all the colors cuz they say wat they flip tob ut it sux cuz they only show like 1 color of each kind..they needa update it n have a example of every color

for all of you people wondering how much paint you need for your car here you go

(GRANDMARQUIS JUST AN EXAMPLE BECAUSE OF BIGGER SIZE VEHICLE!)

the average paint needed to do the outside of a grand marquis with 3 coat coverage is around 80-90 oz sprayable (paint mixed with reducer total to 90 oz) depending on what mix ratio the paint your using is. some are 1 to 1 some are 2 to one

if you have a 1 to 1 paint figure 2 quarts will give you plenty of paint to paint the ouside of a vehicle and more as long as the color will cover in 3 coats (roughly 124oz of paint from 2 quarts if its 1 to 1 ratio)

figure a gbody will need roughly 90 oz for exterior then 20ish per jamb, little more for under hood and trunk

so figure on around 175oz to paint your jambs, whole car and have some left over for any accidents, or anything needing to be fixed in case of damage!!

get three quarts of paint 3 quarts of reducer and youll be straight with plenty of paint left over to do interior panels and all that good shit

how much paint does it take to paint your average sized car...

i was always told 3-4 gallon, but you can reduce it so much to spread the paint it's rediculous, i seen a guy use a gallon for a whole car, but with no door jambs done
