So after years of turbocharging cars(mostly imports) and personally owning turbocharged cars, I've decided to start making turbo kits for any customer that wants one. So why not call up Flip and use his car as my guinea pig to start fabbing up some kits(other than my own, his will be the first kit I've made from scratch). It's completely done now.... besides the future fuel and tuning I'll be doing, and the 4.10 gears. At 6psi of boost the T04e turbo spools up nicely and pulls hard all the way thru every gear. We opted to not hook up the exhaust and leave it open downpipe. This car sounds SICK!!!!! All work on this car was done here at Diverse Automotive of Sarasota. Videos will be posted later today.

kits on fuel injected cars start at $2000 installed and tuned and depending on upgrades will usually be no more than $4000. Almost all kits will use a T04e turbo, front mount intercooler, blow off valve, custom manifolds, fuel management, and internal wastegates. No matter what anybody else says, turbo kits ARE safe for any engine as long as there is enough fuel supplied and low boost. Expect power gains from 50-200 hp. So forget about spending $10k on a motor that gets shitty gas mileage. This is where its at!

Looks like nice work and all but them shits are expensive it seems.

And that crown vic = barf.gif pissford.gif

supercharger cost 4 bands without installation & tunning, but i was told superchargers are better than turbo as far as lasting longer, and supercharger + cast iron block = start looking for a new motor soon if you smashing on it alot
DiVeRsE AuToMoTiVe
we tuned it conservativly at 6psi with a peak of 8psi. we have plans for the future so it will be easier to turn the boost up. I've personally been turbocharging things for years, from cars to go-karts. So it was just natural to go turbo and not supercharger. superchargers are way more expensive than building a turbo kit. as for the comment of a supercharger being better for the motor..... boost is boost. they do the exact same thing. turbo spins and charges via exhaust and superchargers charge via belt. plus the top end power is better with a turbo. after install the gears (3.55), that bitch will get. all in all as for the motor lasting..... as long as we have a cool charge, enough fuel, enough timing, it will last for along time

I wish I had a v8 supercharged or turbo ......i hate my v6 twin turbo cuz as soon as soon as one dies out im looking at 7000 for new ones put in sad.gif

Doesn't matter if it's Turbo or Supercharger, 6psi is 6psi. Turbo's will also last as long as any supercharger, plus Turbos don't rob horsepower the way a supercharger will.

Reading this paragraph I would think you had no clue. Well I guess that's what I'm saying. I know this is the prototype so I will refrain from pointing out all the fail in those pics.

Damn been looking for a turbo kit for a vic ...shit im interested AFTER you perfect your kits ..like cuz said we kno its a prototype but hey wen you do get it rite hit me up CIH ..CASH IN HAND !!!
teezy
Im interested, but from a distance. On paper, sounds promising, but will have to see how it plays out.

Were these kits intended for a specific year of Crown Vics? Would something like this work on my 04?
St. Pete
See that vic on 4th of july weekend in sota @ some club.

that shit so garbage.

good luck with you kits though. why use exhaust pipe for the turbo plumbing?

Heres the last car of mine personally(or motor i should say). i dont see what you need to point out, but go ahead. It almost seems like ur tryin to say I dont know anything but go ahead. Ask away. Btw, this setup:GT3076r on a top mount Full Race manifold, tial 38mm wastegate, hks intercooler, greddy intake mani, aem engine management w/ maf delete, 770cc injectors, 32psi of boost, apexi head gasket, arp head studs, wiseco pistons, eagle rods, eagle crank, acl rod bearings, brian crower full race head(port, policsh, dual titanium valvesprings and retainers.

This is my current project: 92 nissan 240sx sr20det, gt2871R, edge racing bottom mount manifold, that same block and head, same intercooler, same engine management, etc. its all wired up except cam angle sensor(needs extended and routed behind and around). Full tuck of brake lines, clutch lines and ALL wires

as for the specific kits...... theres no "specific" about these. I custom make all the manifolds and route the piping the best way possible. videos are up. he's currently at 5psi until the rest of his fuel management stuff comes in. 42lb injectors, lightning maf, diablo predator tuner, and bigger intersooler coming soon. this next week ill be doing this maxima:

lol.....
1:Do you have a tuning system(safc, power-fc, aem, megasquirt, etc)?
2:What turbos?
3:Is it all installed already?

It can happen for the price of a plane ticket and a little $ .... depending on what u want and what you have. It wouldn't be the first time.

For about $3k, I can get you K04 kit w/ injectors, maf, and tuned ecu. Intercooler and piping add $300

hmmmm.gif

You mean cast iron rotating assembly? 6psi will do okay for a while but if you drive it hard it will eventually give out.

But with supercharger its instantly there when you need it.
