Got a 87 Cutlass Supreme original olds 307. I know so far size wise its not different except maybe the mounts. But what would I need to change to go to a 87' 350Chevy engine?

juz wat you said..engine mounts and tranny mite not mount up since its a olds to a chevy..but not %100 on the trans thing

87s and up got the computer so Id hav to go with a engine made for a 87+. I was doing some research today and came across a place thats sells them for bout 900. Gotta get the top end parts like intake, carb, etc.

thought 87 was last yr of the gbody cutty? after that the 88's n up were fwd cutlass calais's and shit? i could be worng but i had a 86 307 cutty and it didnt have a brain i had to change out when i put a stock chevy 350 in it but maybe cuz it was a 86 n not a 87..iono

I believe transmission mounts also for Chevy Trans,

u have to change, engine mounts, transmission and crossmember
as for the 87 350 u dont need no computer, its going to be carb

So I can ditch the computer? I know that yr they had a quadrojet carb. electric choke which I think is whats different bout them, IDK. Im lost when u start talking bout whats under the hood.
