Man, AA load the burban up with them hoes, my late cousin had a 93 Burban with (6) Punch HE2 15s sealed in a deep V shape enclosure firing up, from the second row back on (2) Rockford Fosgate Punch 800.2 (around 1800 to 1900w)

Let me ask yall this, if yall could do (2) 8s bandpassed or (2) 10s blowthrough in a Crown Vic, which one would you do?

The 8s would be the Sundown SA 8s, and the 10s would be the Audioque HDC3s. Im sure the 10s would be alot louder, but they would cost alot more to push as well.

Im dead set on the 8s because it would be cheaper and alot less work, (the 10s would require me to cutout a good chuck of the rear deck) but I also know they would be alot louder.

Had to make a hard decision, could not lose my trunk or back seats while the Vic is my daily driver.

We've seen people with less subs take out people with 100 subs. Smaller subs taking out bigger subs.

Some cars meter higher than others, like the video of the neon with (2) 18's taking out the tahoe with (24) 12's (lmao), of course the neon meters higher, it has a gigantic bass boost being a small car.

But what I'm looking into now is how far the bass travels. (carries).

It's contridicting in a way, cause more seems to carry farther but then again, I've personally witness less carrying farther.

It's all about the install, how you do it. loading up any car doesn't give the same effect.

Ported/Bandpass is the way to go in a car if you ask me, with an suv/truck you can do sealed,ported/bandpass watever and it still carries, nothing blocking the bass waves.

Size of the vehicle determines alot also.

Give you an example, Slapmaster setup with the (18) 10s carried further than you could imagine....when it passed by the house, sounded like a wave of pressure as appose to just bass and trunk rattle. It was only one other car that was able to do that, and that was 12 years ago.


I would love to do a big sealed setup like that with some better subs, but dont have the funds for something like that, gets expensive very quickly.
