gotta 83 caprice classic and narrowed my subs down to 2 choices:
2 15 hdc3 or 4 kicker l5 12 and all this is on a us 4000dxt amp.
Which would be louder?

that US xt4000d is only 15000w rms @ 1 ohm...u might want to check more options like (2) or (3) 15" Audioque SDC2.5 subs
u can run 3 of em at 1.33 ohms..its cheaper...plenty conty area...u can build a decent side box in that chevy trunk

Based on my exp with the Audioques, I would suggest the HDC3s with a couple of those amps, would shake that trunk lid off.

well i had the us xt 1000d last year it moved my trunk a lil bit i know its a better qaulity amp than a crunch pzi 2250 witch i let my friend borrow and he told me that the remote started to smoke i think he clipped it but unsure i never checked it out i know he still has it i think im going to pay him a visit but i will have to put it back together

I personally wouldnt do it.
(2) big boy 15"s ported would be good enough with some nice power.

i feel ya but u kno we 2 different ppl, but im juss gonna hook up 3 of dem zx1000 kicker amps, or go wit 4 15's of dem L5's and 2 zx1500 amps
