Im wondering what type of G Body trunk projects are out there. I have a '86 Cutlass Supreme and Im tryin to fit a few somes in the extra space in the top / back. As you kno the trunk space is the same for all G Bodys (GM '78 - '88 Monte, Regal, Cutlass, etc.). So what Im trying to figure out is "What can I fit in the extra space?" I was thinkin 3 >10's. I want to save the floor of the trunk for a few STUPID amps and an extra battery. Anyway, whats my possibilities?

ur kinda limited due to space. 4-10s or 2-12s both ported. Ur gonna run across a few people who will say 15s bu trustme. They dont know what they are talking bout. U can do 15s sealed but.......ugggg!!! just stick to 10s and 12s. U'll still have the left over space u want

i had 4 12s in a blow thru in my 86 cutty back in the day (actually my first blo thru in 98) and they was all the way in the back facing forward and then put a mouth on it for the blo thru thru the backseat...and im sure sum will say its not a tru blo thru but wateva its a blo thru down here and i still had room for my amps in the back of the box and batteries on the side of it..n gonna do my 78 cutty the same way

so ya like dude said 10's n 12's your best bet and im sure these audio experts will tell you a different box or way to do it and thats koo im juz sayin how i had mine..im not into a whole lot of trunk rattle i like the pressure in the cabin

um no you worng bout that...there was a separate mouth piece added onto the front of the sealed box to make a tunnel thru the backseat..it wasnt juz TAKEN out....its a blo thru i think i kno wat they are since all my cars have had em...but keep makin the trunk rattle lol

smh, if thats what you wana call a blowthrough then be my guess, , basically all you did was put a sealed box in a trunk face it forward, and mad a lil fancy opening and took your back seat out thats not technically a blowthrough imo thats just take your back seat out, thats call buidling a sealed box and sealing it off from the trunk , show when you have actually had to do some banpass setups ported through the deck or back seat, let me know when you build a ported box with a external port through the deck or back seat, those blowthroughs what you just describe is a pussy ass wall, cause people didn't want a real wall right behind there head

List a system that u had that was louder than 5.5k rms on 2 btl 15s ported 16 seleniums on 2000 watts rms, and i'll give u the benefit of a doubt, then this bubble u def don't wana see, going back with 16 seleniums (except more 8s) 4 15s in a bandpass blowthrough (a real blowthrough) on another 5k monster boy get yo weight up, I don't do just my words over powering my bass setups, my shit be balance, n I don't know everything but one thing I know more about car audio then u

I am doing a Brutus 1.8k amp on 16 selenuims with a GP 2.5k amp on one 12" ported to boomy specs.This project is more about highs and mids than boom. I am still going to beat but I want to hit highs off the meter.
