i was told to get my box built this way for 2 audioque sdc2.5 15s

38 aint that damn high, 40 or better is high too me. I always liked around 33 to keep the low notes extra loud

i said kinda high, and it's high for me, you can't get a response 20hz-30hz, i can't fuck with it............... and brah i would still bring the tuning down some i know aq likes those high tunes, but you can tune them low from what i was told just gotta get a box figured out for them

With the AQs, you dont have to tune that high if you dont want too, I would suggest around 35hz.

The problem with 38hz is if you listen to rap alot, you tend to keep the woofer playing below tuning, which it can handle fine, just up to a degree. With 35hz, its not as bad on the sub, so you good.

Either way, the lows from the AQ are fine, the guy that demo his 10s to me had them tuned to 33hz, and lows were crushing, but def heard the loss on the upper notes, not as strong as they should have been. But with 35hz, things would have been alot better.

My bad for the delay fellas, a guy on CA.com help me design that box, its intended for a pair of Sundown Audio Z15 15s. Its 4 cubic feet on the sealed side, 8 cubic feet on the ported side, with an external port tuned to 48hz. Dont have any measurements, as the sketch was just to get an idea of how it would look.

Not sure im still going with it, I just bought a 18" DC Audio LVL 4 from Slapmaster, so thats in the Vic at the moment.

If you guys are interested in bandpass designs, I know a couple of people on the forum who would be better at it than me, lol.

Its looks hella nice. I actually got a buddy on CACO who just became a dealer for RD & Sundown, Was trying to sell me those subs new. Nice prices too
