Gotta kenwood kdc-138 and it wont power on. I got it benched tested and it worked then. Ive tried replacing the fuses and it still wont power on. I need to know what the problem with my cd player is.

r u sure it's hooked up right? bad ground?

k you shouldve bought a wire harness instead of clipping the old harness off if that what you did easirer to install just color code match wires and you will be straight thats what i did on my crown vic now on my box chevy i clipped off the old harness they missing a wire i finnaly got it to remeber i just forgot what i did i know i clipped a wire from the clock i forgot which color it was i thnk it was orange

Most new cars need a acc power ran to the radio, even when using a harness

i was talking about the old skools ive yet had worked on a old skool that needed an acc wired the newest car ive put a radio in was a 96 volvo and that was terrifying that thang had like a million wires in that thing

Its a 1999 durango and i didnt clip the original harness just the aftermarket wire harness.

hook up your yellow wire from your cd player to a Red/Blue wire
hook up your red wire from your cd player to a Red/White wire
if your cd player has a orange wire hook it to a Black/Yellow wire

and heres all of your wires colors
