just wondering why we on the fiberglass topic when you put 6.5 or 8" speakers in the door do you have to fiber glass them in there or get a pretty thick piece of wood and stick it in the door panel then wrap the wood up with fabric to keep it from falling and moving every where

i live 30mins south of tampa..and i kno theres sum good shops up there but ask 813 or st pete cuz i font any there names but in bradenton i kno a few shops that do good glass work which is were i stay at and sarasota to...but imma tell you its not cheap for wat all you asking to get dun (well guess it dpeends how crazy you wana go wit the design too tho)

ya u make templates before you glass it all (or a skeleton i guess u could call it) thats wat forms the designs and angles of how the speakers will sit and which way they point and all that

ya theres fiberglass forums that show you how-to's and tutorials n stuff..but ya you start makin a skeleton and add to it

ya most shops roun here still pretty high cuz they kno they can get it cuz alot of people want glass work to keep in the game ( for the bay area,not sayin in general)..but theres 1 shop i kno thats doin it alil cheaper juz to get bizznezz and get there name out there

but ya ive seen kats drop 10-20stax juz on glasswork alone(full interiors of course with full dash)..even juz full doors goin for the 5k area

We got a dude up here in the 352 doing Kandy and Glass. LEO Customs, dude's name is Tim. He just did a Hypnotiq Kandy '99 Merc that we're doing the guts in this week (suede/allante). I think he gets like between 4-10 stax for full glass (dash, doors, trunk). He just put some 40" TV in the trunk of a Gbody, dude is sick.
