this mornin i took tha vic to get my front bumper repainted cuz it had a crack on it, i was bout to pull out my shit this weekend and this was one of tha last steps.

I got tha shit today and tha bumper looked good as fuck

but when i got home i noticed these marks all over tha car now...it look like big ass tape marks in about 15 diff places....i tryed to get it off wit a car wash and tryed wd-40 and tha shit still there! WTF is this shit? n how do i get it out...tha shop closed so i cant take it back yet... im takin it there at 9am when they open but for now im pissed n wonderin what tha fuck this shit could be...any ideas?

Overspray?

i dont think so cuz they only sprayed my front bumper and this shit is everywhere even on tha back....it almost look like they taped it wit sum strong ass tape and tha tape took some clear off wit it when they removed it...

Overspray can get everywhere trust me. Very little of the clear that they put in the gun actually ends up on the car

look @ this thread.... it look like them markings but bigger and diff shapes on tha actual body of tha car.

o yea n u cant feel it i ran my fingernail cross it and it feel smooth as tha paint it aint sticky

That does look like the glue from the tape came off, id just wait and let the bodyshop fix it. That way they cant blame you for fucking something up while trying to fix it. You can use so type of glue remover though, paint thinner too. Just try a spot where you wont notice it to make sure the thinner/glue remover doesnt damage your paint

take it back. tell them they fucked it up and have them wetsand and buff the whole car for you. your paint will be nice and new again. anyone who details cars with those highspeed buffers will be able to do it.

They must have used some old masking tape. Or they baked your car or sat it in the sun with regular masking tape on it, instead of using the special tape used when baking.

if its overspray its easy fix if its tape its a easy fix... wax and grease remover cut , buff and ur shinin!
