I was talking with some on about drive lines and i was told that instead of extending one it may be possible to use one out of a extended cab truck..true or false..and if so which one

I dont ever cut and extend....its easier to get them made!!

That ain't a bad price at all. I paid $100 for a aluminum one out of a police vic to go on my vic when I had the rims on. Shit was like a third of the weight of the steel one that came on my car. Whether it made a difference or not I have no clue because I put it on same time I put new gears in the rear end.

Hey....since were talkin about drive shafts whats the best way to get one out?I'm strugling with mine!I've takin the four small bolts out,but for some resson it seems suck in there. Thanks guy's

Slide under da car get a hammer and tap it out

is it always necessary to extend your drive shaft? im putting on a ucl lift (a arms, trailing arms, cups) with 6s -- 295/30/26 .. i juss want to be able to clear ma wheels. so maybe a 2-3" lift

Anything 5in and higher with longer tailing arms...then u would need a longer drive shaft!!

appreciate that!! im doing tha longer trailing arms but not as high a lift. so ill bee good!!! thanks again

im in the process of lifting my regal 8.5 inches in the rear how long will my drive shaft have to be and someone told me they took a drive shaft of a box caprice and it worked out good on a g-body and how long do my rear trailing arm have to be for my uppers and lowers for a 8.5 lift
