i got bout 4 small dings. i sand the clearcoat off till i see that im sanding the paint off and wipe it down then add glaze putty.. wait 10 mins and sand it smooth with 3M P320 grit sand.

i spray my primer and sand and i could still feel the halo of the glaze that i apply. when i say halo i meant the edge of the bodywork.

i did this step 3 times and still cant fix this. this is VERY important because the paint im using is CANDY apple red.

any help?

using guide coat is better doesnt gum up your sand paper like spray paint. and guide coat might not show what he is seeing

what he is prob seeing is solvent rings. it happens when a sanded area in the paint is too sharp or is not sanded back far enough... the easiest way to me is to polyester prime it and block it. if you want to do it the least exp but more work then use body filler on the whole panel block it glaze it and use filler primer and block it again.

solvent rings

yeah that's it.

wheneva i sand the bondo good and spray my primer i still see that ring shit. so afta numberous of attempt i found another way is by sanding it down with 320 grit till it's almost done and stop. then wetsand it with 600 grit. spray a guide coat then wetsand it again till the solvent rings goes away. then primer it again for paint.
