man it's shop down there in p-cola spraying wet as fuck for the good number to, a dude i know got his vic sprayed down there and that thang came back wet as fuck, my homeboy got his lincoln town car down there now getting wetted up at the same shop, can't think of the name but they foolish

X2 1350 for a fuckin rotatin assembly is stupid when they going for 600 to 700 balanced and all with the srp or je lightweight piston who in the fuck is doing your car? Cuz i want in on some of this cash

naw that aint the finnal our come of the motor, it got to go back into the car i have alot of top of da line high performnce sh!* in the motor. oh and about the rotating assembly. i bought the 383 short block with all the rotating assembly for the 1350. i traded my 350 block which was locked up for the 383 short block they where tryin to get 1800 off it but the dude who it belonged to put 500 down on it at the machine shop and never came back for it. so my mechanic told me if i payed the remaining balance off then it was mine!! so is 1350 a decent price for a 383 short block with eagle rods and crank??

you read it right put ole boy sanded down my fenders and radiator support down and kandied everything under the hood firewall, frame and kandied the suspension, and rewired everything show case quality is 2000 to much for all that

they are ceramic. my mechanic painted them white becouse white draws less heat, they will stay cooler. he also painted the inside of my block white so the oil can stay cooler as well!! what you think about that? check the block out

So you paid all that money for ceramic headers...and not show them off....should have went with regular headers!!

The price you paid was just crazy, now if you had a Supercharger somewhere on there I could understand that price you paid..

I would like to see some dyno numbers of this car once its all put together.

I have to say, that is a Lie within itsself. The ceramic coating is what keeps temps cooler, Painting ceramic coating is like putting a ice cube in ice cream. It serves no purpose. & you can also see through the white paint & its not ceramic under there (dont say they had to sand it down to paint it white, because that would defeat the purpose of getting ceramic in the first place)

Like trace said you should have just stayed Ceramic (wont debate you thata there are or are not we both know the truth)

& they did not even use ARP bolts on your intake or timing cover, so lord knows what they use on the inside and your heads if they did'nt use them in the simple areas.

Ya live and learn homie. for 9 stacks You suppose to have Waaaaaaaaaaaay more than that. Not a cheap air cleaner, cheap distributor, painted over old headers, no Arp bolts, cheap ebay oil pan, etc. etc.

Intake is nice looks like a rpm air gap with the endurashine!

Oh yeah...i WOULDNT put kandy on an engine block...the heat from the block will eat that paint alive...thats why they made "engine paint"....it will stand up to the heat!!

you can kandy a block, just has to be prep'd right. would'nt think its best for a car driven alot but it can be done & hold pretty decent.

X2 if your motor is getting so hot that the paint wont stay on the block you got problems motors should not be getting that hot.

seriously I would asked have st. pete and other board members for help before trusting a mechanic with 9 stacks. When I build my motor all I am doing is a Holley top end kit, 750 mech carb, MSD set up,hooker cermanic headers , and minor machine work. I will be installing this myself to saving money .All this is priced under 4 stacks

I know that but you got to keep it in consideration that all the other parts added up as well, i needed hoses, radiator, electric, fans, new transmission, etc, and all that exra stuff added up!!! and with the blocks you shown. say if i would have bought one of them, then i would still have to buy my the radiator, fans, fuel lines, labor, etc and then i probably'd be lookin at 15-14 stacks

No it realy aint waistin money the motor by itself wid all the parts rocker arms, cam etc came out around $4800
+ a tranny $1300, labor + and some major body work on the front end added up. I know we in a recession and all but you cant go buy some cheap ole bo-bo-bullsh*t and put off in a motor and espect it to be at best!!

You got to bare wid me man i dont know a whole lot about motors!! The ARP bolts for like drag racin and stuff aint it? hey can u tell me anything about tapping and torqing bolts....??? I got the best of the best. in the pic that u see. the air cleaner on the motor was a temporary air cleaner somthing to put over the carb so that no moisture could get in , but i have some kind of cone shaped K&N airfilter now the headers they aitn old and they aint new i bought them last year round this time and bolted them to a 350 but never crunk it up. and the rain got to them I highly doubt if the oil pan came from Ebay who shops there

them chrome oil pans are known to leak
