At my job We use Sherwin Williams paint (ultra 7000) but on the side i do kandy paint jobs Sherwin Williams custom line is called Planet Color and is very good and last long as shit depends on what clearcoat you use i recommend (CC931) with UH904 Hardner but back to the kandy i just ordered a qt of emerald and caribbean blue so i can do a fade on my 78 caprice 2 dr the best thing to do is buy the dye and mix it with a midcoat thats a true kandy and its cheaper but forreal tho i dont like there midcoat clear just because its milky and kills the color of the dye so i use PPG DBC midcoat that shit is crystal clear and will not kill the kandy effect...any question about kandys, effect and paint i got cha cool.gif

we use sherwin williams at my job too and they do have a decent paint i also would recomend cc930 or cc950 along with cc931 you should use either US5 or US6 reducer with da 904 hardner stay away from dat hp15 shit! ( air dry/bake clear coat) i tried using that a couple times and the clear dosent come out right also be sure to cut, buff, and polish after the clear has had some time to cure i have used 800,1000,1200,1500,3000 grit wet-sand paper on their clear with no problems with a D.A. and by hand you have to know what you're doing and be careful not to burn through!

depending on what color you pick out of the planet color book will drive the price up or down...they range from 1500(thats for the top and the base, gallon) to in which i think is crazy 10,000 , they revamped that price and i dont know what it is anymore it was for a killen ass blue candy color with like the rest had diamond cut glass in it! Ive only seen it 1 time on a car..I like the Jade, and the red reflective though, as for the rest of the materials it should be under 1000 i say that because i dont know what items youll pick(or youll let them sell you)
