What info do you look at to tell if a speaker is good? (loud and clear, low to no distortion when played at high volumes)

The bigger the magnet on the bottom of the speaker, the louder it'll hit, and usually in most cases the deeper, and longer it can hold the basstone. (in proportioniate to the speaker size itself)

The coning around the speaker is a big deal... there's lots of different materials out there nowadays, polyvinyl. rubber, and some small ones are even surround in paper (very small ones)

Peak powerr on a speaker is just that.. the peak... not the constant... the RMS is the "constant" power goin through the speaker... that's the amount of power you'll hear majority of the time.

There's a lot of variable when it comes to lookin for a speaker, depends on exactly what you're lookin for in the speaker (what you want it to do for you)
