I got an 87 caprice with power everything and I was trying to see if i could swap out the power windows for roll up and down windows. I know i will have to change the door panels but will that be the only thing?

WHY?

i flipped this car out once with white gucci and purple swirl velvet kandy paint 24s and lambos and now im starting over going kandy pagan gold on 26s and going all leather guts with the shell top (LS top). so im tired of the hassle of replacing switches. Its just a consideration may not do it though

Just get you four door with manual windows/locks shit if you was local I would trade you cause I need power windows.

i was thinkin u could change doors too but didnt know if u wanted to go that route

yeah i mite do that cause im bout to repaint the entrie car anyway so mite jus do dat if i find some good doors from another body

Definatley would be a lot easier to figure out why the power window switches keep shorting out and still have the luxury of having power windows. Otherwise swap the doors with manual ones.

ive never heard of any1 wantin roll ups over power windows....thats like totally ass backwards...id juz find out y the switch is shorting out and fix it once and keep the luxury........if you have a test light or borrow one you juz start testing wires to see which one is bad or shorting out...........prolly easier then swappin out 4 dooors to me
