That flocking... basically finely shredded fabric fibers or some shit.. www.craftflocking.com its real easy to do. just use a piant that is close to the color of the flocking (use acrylic paint) put a good amount of paint on there. and sift the flocking on with a little hand flour sifter, and then press it down with your finger and tap off the extra.. wait for it to dry then blow it off with a can of dust and all that will be left is the carpet.

thanx for the info bruh.....even tho i havent built shit in along tyme but ive been thinkin bout finishing the 2 projects i started and never finished............you wouldnt happen to juz have a regal frame would you? or sum nice staggered that would go on a corvette...but the corvettes a 1:24 but it looks smaller then thatand the undercarraiage/frame is weird and cant really put any deep wheels on it cuz sum thin as wheels came with it so the innerfenderwells stop right at the wheel..and ya i kno i can tub it but i had designed a fiberglass box and amp rack in the back along tyme ago and dont really wana tear it apart...........ok nuff typin lol my bad but if you got any extra parts post sum pix if you could

Have you ever thought about trying your hand at painting real cars?
I know painting models and real cars are A LOT different...but at the same time its kinda similar...

That truck looks sick (no Swine Flu) thumbsup.gif

Ive thought about painting real cars.. i had my hand in a bit when i was in highschool. Then i got a job at a wood shop so kinda directed me away from the cars for a bit since its good money in wood shops.

I have a 1973 datsun 240z in the garage that should be ready for paint this summer.. so i might set up a "ghetto" spray booth in the garage and spray it up.

this model car set will be finished next weekend, i will make a thread iwth the final pics and delete this one.
