dunno the AMT is a all new tool, revell works with Maisto so we might get this body with more detail on the engine
Just take a hit
plastic isnt always better.. you get a cheap diecast it will look cheap.. 1:18th scale highway 61 challenger's are modeled nice. but expensive

i like plastic the problem is they cant keep up with the market i like new cars as much as classics but i prefer newer cars to old schools.
Just take a hit
all model car companies mainly stick to old schools. like diecast.. most of the shit you find is oldschool. if you find a new school car is from a cheap company like welly, maisto or hotwheels.
customcoupe68
well put.

stick to plastics lol

jk

clearly this is plenty of reason for somebody start up their own market of diecast/OR plastic and get some newer cars out.....CAN ANYBODY ELSE SEE THIS?!

it costs 250k to make tooling for a plastic car it costs less for diecast also material costs are cheaper. not to mention licensing issues another 80k easy. ive discussed it with people before even though it doesnt look like it diecasts do turn a profit in turn putting out newer cars.

Auto Art has been stepping it up with new cars but im not buying one to cut it up but i would love to have a bathing ape veyron
Just take a hit
autoart is overpriced. some of their cars are amazingly detailed. but alot are just besically maisto's with AutoArt on the chassis.

I would cut up a auto art, ive cut up GMP's, Precision 100's, highway 61's and lane.
expensive cars. but i didnt pay for them .They were for customers.

I wish i could afford plastic. now that shit gets expensive.
customcoupe68

Expensive diecast company. some are worth it. some arnt

now GMP and lane and highway 61. some of thoes cars have windows that roll up and down

there is some real good money in diecast if you know what your doing. buy a car on e-bay for like 30 bucks. swap out the engine. paint it, detailed it. do some interior work and you can sell it for 175+
