my opinion on the seleniums 6 & 8, played with them today with around 30-40rms
6" Selenium
if you ain't got atleast 90rms to give don't even bother yourself buying it, you would be better off with the dayton audio 6s, but it will get loud enough with 50 rms, but you will notice that it is begging for more, but it handles bass pretty well all the way down to 40hz, i would recommend to anyone who has the power, and wants something that has widerange of things it can handle such as midbass midrange & freq. a lil higher
8" Selenium
Man i love this bitch lol, it handle bass all the way down to 40hz really well, and gets louder than the 6" selenium with the same amount of power (cone area and higher efficiency is the reason y i would guess) but what i really like about this driver is how vocal it is, it really brings out the words in the songs, but on higher freq. it doesn't put out sound, but midrange & midbass it is a great woofer, has me thinking about putting 1 8 in the door with 2 6s, in stead of 3 6s, we'll see how that goes when i finally get my doors done and see how fitment goes
Did you get some st350 too?
Question for anyone:
How many watts should I through at these 6's I got 100 to each? How about the 8's Gonna order 2 of them and How much to the tweets? Are you guys using crossover? Also are you running 8's and 6's an tweets all on one amp or what?
