here go my 72 impala im finally starting to do some work on. picked it up for 1100 sight unseen. was sitting in a field for about a year before i bought it. it has a rebuilt 350, had a stock 4 barrel that ran like shit so i did some upgrades. i added a new summit stage 2 intake, road demon 625 carb, an edelbrock cam, 1.6 roller rockers, all new dist, wires, plugs, a new high torque mini starter, and a lil bit of chrome. and i did it all myself, runs 150% better, i had to tune the demon carb quite a bit to get it running just right. next ill be putting on some cermaic coated headers and new 2.5 dual exhaust.
i was gonna do 24s wit skinnys but i got a deal on some 26" dub big homies, ill be lifting it just enough to make the rims fit and yes it will have skirts.
but next its getting painted, probly limegold over green base,
i should have some pics of paint soon, here some pics of the car, motor and the rims

took a pic of the rims mounted before took it to get painted. i had to make a few small cuts to get them 6's on. ill probly lower the back a lil more when its all done. anyways next pics will be after its painted in about 2 weeks

i got a few pics of bodywork getting done, jambs getting sprayed tomorrow. should have the car back and painted in about a week. it was blocked 3 or 4 times on the sides so it should be pretty straight. i cant wait to get it back.

lil update, got back from paint, dumb ass painter picked the wrong base coat even after we went to the paint store 3 times to pick out the color, so its limegold candy over who knows what basecoat?? i didnt really like it but its starting to look better. and if it matters i didnt have to pay full price since he painted it the wrong color.
i also ordered a suspension kit:
new upper and lower balljoint
new innner and outer tie rods
new tie rod sleeves
new center link
new idler arm
and i put new bushings in the upper arms that are getitng extended right now

once i get the suspension back together ima take it and have the top and interior done, going all black with some black sude or ostrich

hopefully ill have the car done in 3 weeks

my only advice, SKINNIER TIRES other than that...on point

on the tires, i dont know why but pirellis be looking way fatter on the sidewall. they 305-30-26 same size kuhmo makes but the kuhmo sidewall looks way skinnier. i get em for the low so its all good. im sure skinnys would look better tho.

also took some new pics of me putting my headers on. that bit hella loud with no pipes. taking it to exhaust shop in the morning to run my 2.5" pipes wit some 2 chamber flows all the way out the back. then im dropping it of at my interior dude. more pics soon when top and interior done

thanks, no glass for the interior, just all new wit some otrich or suede inserts. going all black. 4 - 5.25's in the dash and 2 in each door. i made some wooden pods for the door speakers. pics of the interior and stereo will be very soon
