Full Version: SBC Headers
East Coast Ryders/King of the Street Garage > HOW TO & TECH TALK > MOTOR & DRIVE TRAIN

Ok, so I'm about to order some headers. I'm tired of lookin at them stock manifolds. I did some research and heard some pretty good things about Summit Headers. I was originally planning on running Hooker and Hedman headers but they are runnin $400-$500 for the kit. I dont understand why a $250 difference maybe just payin for the name brand. Think I may run these here.

They gotta nice ceramic coating to keep the heat down in the engine bay. These along with my Flowmaster 40 series exhaust system (true duals) should allow that motor to breathe nice!

I aint never seen ceramic coated headers at Advanced or Autozone, only painted but I could be wrong. Ima call and see but the Flowtech Ceramic coated headers run about $260.
