Today. Front clip parts. It pays to get a little dirty in the Junk yard. I got my front clip swap for less than $100 they go for $600 new from a place in Truckin Magazine.

Well here is the full truck post front clip swap and junkyard door swap. I am still waiting on the damn marker light from Cali. I threw one of the 22's on it to see how it looked. I am going to take the skinnies off and throw either a 305/40 22 on it or a 265/40 22. 24's will happen later.I grabbed everything on the interior from the junkyard. I threw the used rug in there because I had to cut a hole for the shifter. The current drivetrain is going to stay for a little while. Eventually a Small block and an Automatic trans is going in. After that I will re do everything inside. As it sits I have about $1200 into the truck INCUDING the purchase price of $750. Enjoy

The fender is from the junkyard. So is the door. It was sprayed black because it was a two tone beige and brown. The door originally was orange and beige. I sprayed the beige section black to keep the truck down to two colors instead of three different colors. I just put these parts on to get the truck legal and reasonable looking for parts running and Home Depot use. The 22 is on there just to see how it would look. It's back on the stock 15's now.

This is probably the easiest vehicle on this board to find parts for aftermarket or in the junkyard.

I am only getting started. My real project is in my sig. This is just for work right now.

Today. Happy New Years!! Get Ready Spring 08' is coming fast.

Black Murk Man
yeah dat shit gone be raw as hell my pops had a black 85 C-10. droped down like 2 inches from the ground. He said he was gonna give it to me when i turned 16. But times got tuff and he had to sell it sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif
TPI84MONTE
My marker light finally came in. I grabbed a New front Bumper from Pick N Pull for $40. Face off is complete for around $150-160 using all junk yard parts. As said before companies charge $600 for the same thing. That's before shipping from Cali. I am now not embarrased to drive this thing to the store or whatever. Happy with the progress so far. I am looking at a new radiator, and suspension still. Audio is coming up soon too. New pics taken today. A little added bonus is my neighbors Charger sittin on 4's and FLATS. I know that don't impress yall anymore but I think it's clean. Enjoy

the truck is lookin good tho. cant wait to see it done.

Now let ask you something, did you have to swap the radiator support, or did you just do it anyway's? Cause I found a local place selling parts cheap as fuck. But no support, plus then clips out here are hard as fuck to come by.

The Whole Core Support has to be swapped out. EVERYTHING for this truck can be bought from LMC truck and Brothers trucks. There are a few more but I forget the names. This is the EASIEST truck to find parts for.

I will be playing in the sand for a few months. New Years it's on again. Remember Fuel injection, 22's and a few other goodies are on the way. STAY TUNED!!!

I have been Busy on the Blazer. The body lift is off and I replaced the heater core so far. The same front end swap the Short step got, the Blazer is getting soon. I found a good complete suburban front in Pick N pull today. I am going back tomorrow for it. I will update both on Monday.

if you selling parts of the burban..let me know.. i need some interior pieces..
TX SS
Well heres a multiple update..... The Blazer is dropped on brand new body mounts(PITA) and I am tuning the piece of shit Holley carb right now. I picked up the whole front grille assembly from pick n pull and the wire harness for the lights. I might go back to get the core support later. Theres three clean ones out there, the SS is undergoing a timing gears, lifters, push rods, roller rocker swap. The Stepside just got a brand new radiator today. I am going to get the 350 built for it shortly. I have too many projects going on right now to tear out the drivetrain. The Fleetwood is holding it down right now. Here's todays pics. Just as promised. Here's a little teaser with what the SS is getting son after the motor work.
